Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s A.C.E. Program eight to nine interactive shows for 2nd grade students

EARTH, WATER and AIR is an interactive program by three DanceCircus performers which uses the three elements to engage students in exploring movement “clues to their imagination.” Three dancers explain, illustrate and demonstrate, then instruct students in the 7 Basic Movements as preparation for students learning one of three parts of the dance. The show concludes in an amazing finale as all the students perform the dance with the company dancers. (Program is also available to schools through DanceCircus. Contact us for more information on schedule and fees.)

Mitchell Manor-memory and movement workshops with seniors GIVING VOICE Series project for 2012

Exploring the effects of movement to tell and retell their life stories, director Betty Salamun conducts storycircles with seniors in the day center at Mitchell Manor. The stories and dances will create a collage of text, movements and images as a GIVING VOICE Project to be included in the March, 2012 DanceCircus concert performances. (storycircles held in January-February)
